All the questions you may have before your off-grid experience with us!

Petts Bottom, Canterbury is approximately 1 / 1.5 hours from London.  We are 8 miles southwest of Canterbury

Plush, Dorset is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from London

Canterbury - Take a train from St Pancreas to Ashford Internation (34 mins) which is 15 miles, 30 mins taxi away

Dorset - Take a train from London Waterloo to Dorchester South (2 hours 31 minutes). We can arrange for a 20 minute taxi ride from Dorchester Station (£20) to collect you

  • Can I bring my dog?

100%. We have a cocker spaniel who loves chasing the butterflies!

  • How many people can sleep in the cabins?

Perfect for couples or two friends with a double bed.

  • How off-grid are the Tiny Homes?

We are close to country pubs and 2 miles+ from local farm shops.

You are secluded in nature with numerous beautiful hikes along historic footpaths.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-out is at 11am. Check-in is at 3 pm.

  • What do I need to bring?

You do not need to bring much. Our cabins provide the cooking essentials you would expect (including a stovetop espresso & cafetiere), basic cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, olive oil and herbs), wood for the fire, and eco-friendly soaps and shampoos. We suggest bringing food and the right equipment to enjoy the outdoors – waterproofs and proper footwear

  • Do you have electricity in the Tiny Homes?

Yes, we do. We run off solar and have hot water for those showers.

  • Is there signal at the cabins?

There is a small amount of signal in our cabins. There is no wifi - Ditch the Wi-Fi, embrace the firelight: Spark romance under starry skies in our unique off-grid cabins. Disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with your love in cozy log cabins and charming retreats.

  • Does being off-grid impact my stay?

Power is a precious commodity. We kindly ask that all guests try to use electricity and water as sparingly as possible and use the opportunity to try to 'disconnect' from electrical devices and be conscious of the water we waste. Overuse of power simply means the batteries will be depleted quicker and are more likely to run out during your stay.
