off-grid cabins in The Cotswolds
escape to the heart of the Cotswolds AONB with our Narnia-inspired off-grid cabins in Andoversford & Chedworth
two unique Cotswolds off-grid escapes set within stunning Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
walks from the door
from Chedworth, the Chedworth circular is the big one, sixteen kilometres of fields and copses along the river Coln, ending with a pint at the Stump. The Roman Villa walk is the shorter version out to the villa itself, and you can string Coln St Aldwyn to Bibury together for café stops at the Twig Cafe and the New Inn.
from Andoversford, the Lower Slaughter loop from Bourton-on-the-Water takes in one impossibly pretty village after another. The Dunkertons loop is the quick seven kilometres that ends with a cider, and the Cotswolds Way joins straight from the cabins at Dowdeswell if you want the long trail.
pubs, pizza and somewhere for coffee
the cabins are located perfectly so that you can really make the most of the Cotswolds food, drink and pub scene.
the Stump does wood-fired pizza and a pint in the garden, a forty minute walk from Chedworth.
near Andoversford, Dunkertons does coffee from eight that turns to cider and live music later on. the Frogmill is a lovely local pub for a evening meal.
Pastries at Knead Bakery in Elkstone for slow mornings accessible from both cabin locations
